Train: 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross station. Walk along Darlinghurst Road to Roslyn Street and turn right. Cross Ward Avenue and past St. Luke’s Hospital.
 
Bus: Catch bus to Watsons Bay (323, 324, 325) or Bondi Junction (326, 327) travelling from Circular Quay along Elizabeth and William Streets. Bus stop is at the junction of New South Head and Roslyn Street (near St Canice’s church).

Walter Burley Griffin Incinerator, Glebe

This City of Sydney meeting room, restored and reinterpreted from an incinerator by Walter Burley Griffin, is at the bottom of Forsyth Street, on the shores of Blackwattle Bay.
 

 

Buses: 431 (City to Glebe Point), 433 (City to Balmain) and 370 (Coogee to Leichhardt via Newtown) – all stop outside Glebe Library. Forsyth Street is the second street on the right, as you walk further down Glebe Point Road.

Upstairs room, Toxteth Hotel

345 Glebe Point Road, corner Ferry Road, Glebe

The management of the Toxteth Hotel has kindly allowed us to use the upstairs room at the Toxteth Hotel free of charge. Members may be interested in having lunch or refreshments before or after class. 

Bus: 431 (City to Glebe Point), 433 (City to Balmain) and 370 (Coogee to Leichhardt via Newtown). All travel along Glebe Point Road. Nearest stop – Glebe Library. The Toxteth Hotel is a few metres away, on the other side of Glebe Point Road. 

Parking: Street parking, especially north of Wigram Road where it is unmetered.

Dixson Room, Mitchell Library within the State Library, Macquarie Street, Sydney

The building is situated between the Royal Botanic Gardens and Parliament House on Macquarie Street, Sydney. 

Train: The closest train stations are Martin Place and St James. Circular Quay is only a 10 minute walk away. 

Bus: Elizabeth and Castlereagh Streets and Martin Place, with a short walk along Macquarie Street. 

Parking: The nearest parking station is Sydney Hospital, located on Hospital Road.

Ozanam Learning Centre

Level 3, 99 Forbes Street, Woolloomooloo.
The building has disabled access and a lift.
This newly opened Centre is operated by the St Vincent de Paul Society and serves both the homeless and the local community. It is in the section of Forbes Street close to William Street.
Train: 5-7 minute walk from Kings Cross station (Eastern Suburbs line) via William Street.
Bus: Frequent buses along William Street; Routes 324, 325, 326, 327, alight on William Street, near the corner of Forbes Street and walk down Forbes Street to the Centre.
Parking: There is limited street parking.

Reg Murphy Activity Centre

19 Greenknowe Avenue, Potts Point

There is disabled access from Greenknowe Ave.
Classes are held in the Baby Health Centre, which is to the left after entering the building.

Train: 5-7 minute walk from Kings Cross Train Station (Eastern Suburbs Line) along Darlinghurst Road/Macleay Street to Greenknowe Avenue.

Bus: 311 buses from either Railway Square or Circular Quay, stopping in Macleay Street.

Parking: There is limited street parking. The Centre is close to a parking station in Ward Avenue.
