Remember when… is a personal history page where any member of the U3A movement can submit a personal history. You are welcome to submit a personal history of up to (about) 1000 words and it will be published on this web site.

The Resource Library

The Resource Library is the home for the U3A Network NSW educational course material. The material provided can be used by any U3A organization for the benefit of its members. On the other hand any individual may find the resources of interest for their own benefit.

Course Offerings

Our aim – the courses you want, at convenient venues!

We look forward to being able to offer courses in a wide range of areas, from history to the environment, from foreign language conversation to craft.

Already we have the following available for 2009:

  • Darwin and Wallace – the origins of the theory of evolution

  • Advanced Care Planning
  • Update your will
  • A knitting circle to knit squares: supporting ‘Wrap with Love’
  • Oral history – techniques and projects
  • Behind the scenes at Sydney’s cultural institutions
  • Rocks of Sydney – geological walking tours

Course offerings depend on members – the expertise, skills or interests that you can share with fellow members by offering a course (8 sessions) or a one-off presentation, by sharing your practical skills in craft, art or hobbies, by leading a discussion group or putting together an excursion

City U3A Launched

City U3A was launched at a public meeting on Saturday 8 November, at the Sydney Mechanics School of Arts in Pitt Street, Sydney.
